A residential pool and spa inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a pool or spa (as delineated below), performed for a fee, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by these Standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector. The scope of work may be modified by the Client and Inspector prior to the inspection process.

Our inspector will inspect the following areas of the pool or spa from ground level:

  1. Plumbing
  2. Filters
  3. Lightsimages
  4. Any adjoining structure as it relates to the pool or spa
  5. Valves
  6. Solar heating system
  7. Pumps and motors
  8. Electrical system
  9. Filtration system
  10. Pool heater
  11. Safety barriers

Our inspector will also describe the following areas of the pool and spa:

  1. Type of swimming pool or spa
  2. Details impacting the inspector’s ability to inspect the unit, including water clarity
  3. The condition of visible components or systems present in the unit
  4. Type of drain installed
  5. Any readily accessible component with functional or material defects
  6. Type of filtration system
  7. Types of safety barriers

When the pool and spa inspection is complete our inspector will create a detailed report with pictures of their findings and will be provided to you in 24 hours after the inspection.
